Jeff Newkirk, Owner and principle designer at Precision Custom is the only double certified Master Fabric Craftsman in Canada. Jeff is a certified Master Fabric Craftsman in both Interior Specialty and Exterior Specialty. The Certifications are governed by the Advanced Textile Association and awarded at the Marine Fabricators Conference.

Precision Custom Canvas has received many international awards, the most recent being at the 2024 Marine Fabricators Conference in St. Petersburgh, Florida. Precision Custom Canvas was recognized with an Award of Distinction and an Award of Excellence in Marine Interior Upholstery. Continuing in 2024, Precision Custom Canvas won Outstanding Achievement in Marine Interior Upholstery at the Advanced Textiles Association International Achievement Awards.
